POINTS OF INTEREST
A tradition at the Great Harbour Marina, this grand supper club—once a private club for the likes of Cary Grant, Brigitte Bardot, and Walter Cronkite—now holds fun dinner events every two weeks, such as Dining Under the Stars and A Night in Havana. The lively crowd enjoys local and fancier international fare such as grilled seafood, pig roast, rack of lamb, beef tenderloin, pork loin, baked duck, Cornish hen, and Bahamian specialties like smothered chicken with macaroni and cheese. The events, which for this tiny island are always special, gleefully end in dancing. Call ahead to confirm dates. It's as much (perhaps more) a nightspot as a place to eat.
